Beliefs and Values

I believe the Meaning of Life is to contribute to the Evolution of the Whole, and that this is most effectively achieved with exceptional overall Mind-Body-Spirit Health and Performance – Evolution of the Individual.

Everybody, especially our Businesses, Governments, Celebrities, and other leaders need to facilitate these goals in others to the best of our abilities. I believe this is the primary purpose of Governments, and therefore, everything they regulate in our societies (ex. Economy).

My values are the same as most great leaders of the past - not to say I am a great leader, but I am striving to be: the Virtues of Consciousness. I favour the way they are described by Positive Psychology, and, although I might be a bit bias, the way I teach them in my own writings, which also includes Efficiency:

      The Strengths and Virtues

      1) Wisdom and Knowledge: Creativity, Curiosity, Open-Mindedness, Love of Learning, Perspectives

      2) Courage: Bravery, Persistence, Integrity, Vitality

      3) Humanity: Love, Kindness, Social Intelligence

      4) Justice: Citizenship, Fairness, Leadership

      5) Temperance: Forgiveness, Mercy, Humility, Prudence, Self-Control, Patience

      6) Transcendence: Appreciation, Gratitude, Hope, Humor, Spirituality

      7) Efficiency: of Time, Energy, Resources, and in general

When we live more virtuously, which is something our Public School Curriculum can teach, as well as other helpful Life Skills (article), life gets easier for the individual and those around them. Clarity, Health, Communication, Cooperation, and pretty much all efforts underlining health and performance enhancement of individuals and groups, thrive when these virtues are exercised. Easier said than done, but with due-diligence, the rewards of doing so will change Societies on a fundamental level, reducing burdens while nurturing Growth/Evolution.

Sincerely,
