7 Tips for Thriving mind, body and spirit

Life is getting more demanding and complicated with the increase of information that needs to be processed to make good decisions, responsibilities, and overall psychological stress. As well, the significant rise in toxins (see chapter 16 of this book for a good overview with comments on how to avoid and detoxify them), the decrease in food and water quality (see this book for a good overview and how to optimize food and water quality inexpensively), and the scarcity of time and energy required to exercise, socialize and relax enough to offset these challenges, oppresses your ability to thrive as a human being.

Luckily, it is possible to rise above these challenges by enhancing your mind-body-spirit health and performance. Remember, your mind, body and spirit are interconnected. As you enhance one of them, the others benefit as well. There is a lot of science on how to do this well, as well as misinformation, especially from authors who do not reference academic/scientific studies to support their perspectives.

As an author, I have been researching all issues relevant to personal development since 1998, using academic references to support my perspectives as much as possible. I presently have 1 instructional textbook, 4 instructional books, 3 instructional DVDs, a science book, a discussion book, as well as numerous articles, presentations, workshops and classes. I think these are important credentials to consider when choosing how to invest your time and money into enhancing your health and performance.

Physically, its as simple as exercising, eating, drinking, and sleeping healthily (Tips 1-3). There is a tremendous amount of information on these subjects and a lot of it is more advanced than many need. By focusing on getting your heart rate up for an average of 10 minutes a day or more (less than 45 minutes), doing some resistance training, eating living foods, drinking pure beverages, following detoxification diets periodically (there are many more toxins compared to a 50 years ago),  and having a consistent sleeping routine of sufficient length, you will have a good foundation of physical health and performance.  This is introduced in most of my books and presented in depth within Diet and Lifestyle Enhancement Strategies for Becoming Superhuman.

Developing the brain (Tip 4) is a field of science that has grown a lot in the past 15 years. Enhancement techniques involving diet, supplements, brain exercises, meditative practices, and even electromagnetic stimulation are valuable to learn (Note: excessive use of stimulants such as caffeine and sugar degrade health over time). These topics are introduced within Inner and Outer Success and presented in depth within Diet and Lifestyle Enhancement Strategies for Becoming Superhuman.

Emotional and Mental Wellbeing (Tip 5) is essential to living to your fullest potential. The science of Psychology has come a long way in the last 40 years at helping people to optimize their emotional and mental health and performance.  In the past 15 years, psychic energy (aka. energy, chi/qi, prana, mana, emotional and mental energies, energies of your psyche/consciousness) techniques have been identified as complimentary and very complimentary to many of the psychological ones; this combination is called Energy Psychology. Diet and Lifestyle Enhancement Strategies for Becoming Superhuman provides a good overview of these subjects while Inner and Outer Success goes into more detail.

Psychic and Spiritual Development are growing in popularity as the average person seeks a more direct awareness of the supernatural rather than having their perspectives dictated to them by religious doctrine. Although academia has been slow to embrace these topics, many researchers over the past century have been making progress (a great overview is in Diet and Lifestyle Enhancement Strategies for Becoming Superhuman and a detailed coverage written in 2003 can be found in The Psychic Energy Reality).

Psychic Development (Tip 6) enhances your awareness of psychic energies, helping you learn more about yourself, other people, places, and things (everything has psychic energies associated with them). As studies confirm, this awareness, also known as Extrasensory Perception (ESP), Sixth Sense, Clairvoyance, Psychism, Prophecy, Intuition, and more, can help you learn about these targets at a great distance (ex. Remote Viewing) as well as into the past and future (ex. Precognition).

Intuition deserves special attention (Tip 6a), also known as Spiritual Guidance or Being Heart Centered, because it comes from soul/spirit guides/guardian angel/angels trying to guide you. They have a much greater awareness of psychic energies and the meaning of life than you and I do. Many successful people attribute intuition as being crucial to their success. This is often called Living From Your Heart because your heart plays an important role in connecting to psychic energies and having intuitive feelings. “Listen to your heart”.

The awareness of psychic energies helps you to avoid, resist, and detoxify them, as well as cultivate and direct them into specific parts of you, other people, places, and things for healing and empowering purposes. Many studies confirm the effectiveness of modalities that do this (ex. Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, Prayer, Acupuncture, Energy Psychology, and more).

A key target for these modalities that is just starting to become recognized is Psychic Anatomy (aka. invisible anatomy, energy anatomy, spiritual anatomy; ex. aura, chakras, koshas, light bodies, meridians, nadis, hara). It is the part of you that interfaces with psychic energies first. When you enhance its health and performance, psychic and spiritual development improves significantly. I have developed 3 modalities to help you do this well: The Psychic Anatomy Exercises, Psychic Anatomy Yoga, and Psychic Anatomy Treatments; this article introduces all of them. The benefits they provide are achieved similarly to how progressive physical exercise routines (ex. athletic training, gym routines, and physiotherapy) improve the health and performance of your physical body.

To learn more about the studies and science involving psychic development I recommend The Psychic Energy Reality for a comprehensive examination done in 2003 and Diet and Lifestyle Enhancement Strategies for Becoming Superhuman for an overview done in 2017.

A part of Spiritual Development (Tip 7) is connecting to and working with spirits of a higher nature. This relies heavily on psychic development because you recognize them by their psychic energy presence of glorious divinity, unconditional love, compassion, peace and other virtues.

Progressing with the previously tips is important to do before trying to work with spirits. People with an abundance of unhealthy psychic energies around or within them, such as having a significantly troubled past, present situation or unhealthy emotional and mental patterns in general, can make them susceptible to lower spirits that can be cause harm.

The other part of spiritual development is further awakening your soul into your human vessel, gaining the benefits of greater psychic awareness and power. This is a mind-body-spirit thing because all parts of you (circuits) play a role in supporting the higher psychic energies required for your soul to blossom. This is largely an unconscious process that good psychic development can help you to witness and even facilitate. The Psychic Anatomy Exercises, Psychic Anatomy Yoga, and Psychic Anatomy Treatments teach routines that facilitate the nature processes of the soul preparing higher to lower parts of your psychic anatomy and physical body for it to awaken within (this is called Descending).

All topics discussed above are covered in my flagship book Diet and Lifestyle Enhancement Strategies for Becoming Superhuman: Leading-Edge - Comprehensive – Science-Based.
